Insurance and Payment Information

If you are using insurance, your insurance may completely or partly cover mental/behavioral health services. Please contact your insurance company and ask the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my copay or deductible, if deductible has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per session?

  • Do I need prior-authorization, if so who do I speak too?

  • Is a referral or approval needed from my primary physician?

  • Does my insurance cover tele-health?

Many insurance plans do have out-of-network benefits that will cover all or part of your mental health treatment. You can call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card or log into your online health insurance account to learn if you have out-of-network benefits. All non-mental health services such as Professional/Performers/Athletes services are self-pay. If you are self-payer and experiencing financial hardship, please discuss that with me during our consultation.
